NixiHost.com, Inc is a Texas-based web hosting company which was founded in early 2007 and is headquartered in Houston. We were founded by a team of hosting industry professionals who were fed up with dealing with the failures of the major web hosting companies.
Instead of putting up with constant server rebuilds, mass billing errors and incompetent staff, we decided to build our own company which would involve management staff at every facet of the company's daily operation.
At NixiHost, we've taken server efficiency and supply chain efficiency to another level. All of our servers are purchased directly from their manufacturers at a wholesale cost and co-located at a secure data center. The business relationships that we've developed over the years allow us to take advantage of big discounts on hardware, co-location and bandwidth. We can then pass these savings on to our customers.
All of our shared and reseller hosting servers are built using the latest Intel Xeon hardware and include at least 128 GB of server-grade RAM, as well as a redundant array of solid state drives to protect your website and your business.
The security of our customers' data is of paramount importance to us, and so we use the finest industry standard methods of protection to keep that data secure.
After our servers have been delivered we run a series of hardware bench tests to confirm integrity and max out each component. We then take them to our data center, where one of our technicians installs and configures the server. Once it's ready, we don't immediately flood it with customers like most other companies do; instead, we round robin balance our hardware to ensure a smooth deployment.
Unlike most other web hosts, we've gone to great expense to make sure that our support team is in Texas, where we're based and where we do business.
